Take up the candle snuffer, raise arms in the star position and, at each quarter candle, speak and then snuff the candle (working in reverse order) ...

(SOUTH - Water)

"Depart in peace, Elemental Water. Take my blessings with you."

(EAST - Fire)

"Depart in peace, Elemental Fire. Take my blessings with you."

(NORTH - Earth)

"Depart in peace, Elemental Earth. Take my blessings with you."

(WEST - Air)

"Depart in peace, Elemental Air. Take my blessings with you."

Return to altar and set down the candle snuffer and take up the wand ... raise arms (star position) and say ...

"Beings and powers of the visible and invisible, depart in peace! There is harmony between us. Take my blessings with you. The circle is cleared!"

Holding the wand, walk the circle backwards (W-S-E-N-W), envisioning the blue light returning to the wand while saying ...

"The circle is open, yet the circle remains."

Return to the altar ... touching wand to forehead, call ...

"The ceremony is ended. Blessings have been given and received, may the peace of the Great Spirit, Goddess and God, remain in my heart. So mote it be!"

(Return any tools to alter, extinguish candles, cleanup as needed.)
